We do expect payment at the time of your office visit. If you have a special arrangement with an insurance plan in which we participate, please present your insurance ID card and co-pay each time before the office visit. We offer a generous discount for those without insurance but ask that you pay up front to qualify.
Our office staff will assist you with insurance filing. We have computerized and electronic billing. For specific billing questions, we ask that you call our accounting hotline: 744-5440 which will bypass the busy front desk. If this line is busy or if you want to call after hours, you may leave a voice mail and one of our accountant-clerks will get back to you at that number on the next business day.
We are participating Primary Care Providers for most of the managed care organizations, HMOs, and insurance plans in Richmond area. Please inform us of any insurance changes that may affect your child's coverage.
We welcome new patients. To save time, we suggest you fill in a patient registration form before coming into the office for the first time. Click here for registration form.
If your child needs hospitalization, it is important that you know which hospitals your insurance policy allows. All our doctors have admitting privileges at all area hospitals, including Johnston-Willis, Chippenham, and St. Francis. Should emergency room care be required for your child, please use the Chippenham Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Room as this facility is staffed by specially trained pediatricians with the support of their Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
